Stadia’s next exclusive is PixelJunk Raiders, which appears on March 1

PixelJunk Raiders is the next exclusive arrival to Google’s Stadium cloud game service. The title, a third-person mourning song that you see fighting through procedure-generated alien environments, will be released on March 1 on the Stadia platform. It will sell for $ 19.99 (€ 19.99) and is included in a Stadia Pro subscription for free. A trailer account announcement PixelJunk Raiders as ‘Only on Stages’, indicating that it is not a temporary exclusive type Crayta.

The announcement indicates that PixelJunk Raiders supports Stadia’s State Share function, which previously collaborated with the Hitman games to let players share specific parts of missions with each other. In PixelJunk Raiders, the feature lets you “place towers, traps and accessories to influence the world of other players.”

The release of PixelJunk Raiders comes exactly a month after Google announced its decision to close its own game development studios, a division of several teams tasked with building original games for Stadia. Despite their closure, it looks like Google is still planning to bring exclusive titles from third-party studios to Stadia.

Other previously announced exclusives for the service include games from Rock orchestra developer Harmonix and Until dawn studio Supermassive Games, in a deal announced last year. Uppercut Games has also announced that it is developing an exclusive title for Stadia. It is unclear whether Google’s recent studio closure has affected these transactions.
