MADISON, Wis. SSM Health will start contacting eligible patients later this week to make vaccination appointments. The healthcare provider announced its updated vaccination plans on Monday afternoon.

Any SSM health patients who have not yet been vaccinated can expect to receive an email from the healthcare provider inviting them to schedule an appointment online. Those who want to schedule an appointment can also call 608-250-1222.

While millions of Wisconsinites are now eligible for vaccination, officials said the supply is still limited.

“SSM Health is committed to vaccinating as many individuals as possible, as the vaccine supply allows,” said Mo Kharbat, SSM Health Wisconsin Regional VP of Pharmacy. “As we work to get through this very large group of Wisconsinites, we ask the public for their patience. Once the supply of vaccine makes it possible, SSM Health can vaccinate up to 20,000 people a week. We look forward to a time when more vaccine is available. ”

SSM Health officials said they are also offering vaccination clinic sites in collaboration with employer groups throughout the area to ensure that suitable 1B employees are vaccinated.

UW Health announced on Monday that patients can now start vaccinations online. Meriter announced on Monday that he also plans to contact patients in the coming weeks for the appointment of vaccines.
