SRP officials say customers on the M-Power prepaid plan will be affected by a power outage on the night of January 8th.

FOX 10 received calls throughout the night from viewers saying that people with an excellent balance on SRP’s M-Power program had their power around 20:00.

Around 9:30 p.m., officials with SRP issued a number of instructions that people must follow to repair their electricity.

  2. Press and hold the “Display cycle” and “Select language” buttons for five seconds. The message “Enter Code” will appear. If the power was off, it would turn on for ten minutes while entering the code.
  3. Start entering the code by pressing the “Select language” button until the first number you need appears. Then press the “Display Cycle” button to include the number and move to the next position. If you make a mistake entering a number, press both buttons for 2 seconds and release
  4. the flashing line moves back to the last digit entered so that you can correct the entry. Repeat step 2 until all digits have been entered in the code you issued. The message “eCode accepted” will appear if the number has been entered and validated correctly.

SRP officials say they do not know what led to the customers being cut on the M-Power plan, but they are investigating.

According to SRP’s website, the M-Power pricing plan is a pay-as-you-go plan that lets people choose how much power to buy.

According to the website, customers will have a special meter installed at their home on the plan that will show them how much power they have left, and will give notifications when the power is up. Customers who need more power can buy more power via an app offered by SRP.
