Square Enix unveils new Life Is Strange digital showcase on March 18

Square Enix will be releasing a new Life Is Strange game on Thursday, March 18 during a live digital showcase, offering new details on upcoming and released games. The video presentation, known as Square Enix Presents, focuses primarily on the publisher’s Western games, including Outdoors, Marvel’s Avengers, and the new Just Cause mobile game.

Square Enix Presents will be streaming on Square Enix’s YouTube and Twitch channels from 6:00 PM EDT / 10:00 PM PDT on March 18th. The presentation lasts about 40 minutes, Square Enix said.

The biggest confirmed announcement is the world premiere of the next Life Is Strange game “featuring a new protagonist who has an exciting new power,” Square Enix said in a news release. Other games that will be discussed during the presentation include:

  • Outdoors, People Can Fly’s RPG Shooter, Coming April 1st
  • Balan Wonderworld, the colorful platform of Sonic the Hedgehog and Nights in Dreams the creators Yuji Naka and Naoto Oshima, who appear on March 26
  • admiresee Avengers, which adds Hawkeye and will receive PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X upgrades on March 18
  • Only take care of mobile and new announcements about mobile games from Square Enix Montreal
  • unspecified games from Taito

Not mentioned in Square Enix’s news release are announced games from the Japanese side of the publisher, so do not make major updates on titles such as: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy 16, of Athia Project during Square Enix Presents.
