Spokesman for Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic provides an update as research into COVID-19 vaccines continues

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A spokesperson for dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic provided an update while an investigation into the handling of COVID-19 vaccines at the Colorado Springs Clinic continues.

The update started just before 3pm on Monday. According to a woman who spoke on behalf of the clinic on Monday, there will be another press conference within the next two weeks.

It is noteworthy that the owner of Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic is not a medical doctor, but a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice).

The Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) announced earlier this month that Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic in El Paso County is currently suspended for the COVID vaccination program. CDPHE reported on Tuesday that they were unable to verify whether the vaccines previously administered at the site were viable because the supplier could not provide the proper documentation of the temperature storage.

The concerns had thousands of patients who had already received at least one dose of vaccine, and thousands of people who had future appointments.
