Spoiler Alert, The Next Pokémon Games Has Leaked

Pokémon

If you were planning on switching to the current Pokémon Gifts, this is your last chance to go unspoiled.

Still here? OK …

Reddit leaker PracticalBrush12 has made a bit of a name lately, especially half of Nintendo’s previous live offering ahead of time. They were also responsible for several Monster Hunter leaks and details about both Diablo 4 and the Diablo 2 Remaster. Their track record speaks for itself, and they’re working on Pokémon again.

While Pokémon Presents is likely to cover multimedia content beyond just games, PracticalBrush12 has outlined two unveiled Nintendo Switch projects, and what’s even more exciting is that it’s later backed up by video and screenshot leaks.

In their latest post, the user writes:

Hey guys, so the remakes are in a rare chibi 3D, fights are just the same as SwSh. Brilliant D and Shining P, this year, developed by ILCA not GF. Why? Because they’re working on another game! This is … Open world. In ‘feudal’ sinnoh. Year 2022 early for release.

If the user believes, it means the long-awaited remakes of Diamond & Pearl are titled “Brilliant Diamond” and “Shining Pearl” and although the date is not specified, they are likely to aim for 2021 if the second project is in 2022. Allegedly, these remakes are led by ILCA, a support studio that helped with games like Dragon Quest XI and NieR: automatically, although it has apparently not previously developed its own title.

What about Game Freak’s title? A full-fledged old-world Pokémon adventure set in the Sinnoh region just in time. No further details will be shared after the 2022 release date, but do not worry, it is going to be very exciting.

Hours after this post was published, the footage of Game Freak’s Pokémon game was found online in the open world. It looks like Pokémon are finally “Breath of nature” moment. Videos and screenshots show trainers wandering in an open field with footage that is much better than that of 2019 Sword & Shield. Not only that, but it looks like battles have been fully revamped with battles taking place in real time.

We see a trainer throw a Poké Ball, almost like shooting an arrow into Breath of the Wild. You can ride with the monsters, fly in real time, climb, sneak in long grass. It almost seems too good to be true, as if it’s a mod for Breath of the Wild … but it’s in line perfect with what PracticalBrush12 describes.

We only have to wait a few hours to officially see it for ourselves, but it looks like this Pokémon Presents is one you do not want to miss.
