Southern Charm star Ashley Jacobs gets engaged to boyfriend Mike Appel during a snow break in Park City
Ashley Jacobs is officially off the market, with the former Southern Charm star now engaged to boyfriend Mike Appel.
The 35-year-old Jacobs, who first appeared on Southern Charm’s fifth season as Thomas Ravenel’s girlfriend, has been dating the 40-year-old Apple since the summer of 2019.
Apple, which owns the clothing business of the garments and the Nnovate agency, suggested according to People during a snow break in Park City.

Apple asked the question while on a snowmobile ride in Park City, and Jacobs said yes.
“After a year and a half of dating, we can both agree that this adventure we are on is just going on,” Jacobs said.

Jacobs revealed that they met in the summer of 2019 at a rooftop party in Jacobs’ hometown of Santa Barbara.

“I was taking a picture of the sunset when Mike kindly paused and asked, ‘Do you want me to take a picture with you?’ ‘Jacobs said of their first meeting.
“We then started a conversation. Mike is from Los Angeles and he asked, “Are you ever coming to LA?” I thought to myself, “No,” but replied with, “Not so often.”
She added that she had to remind herself that she “had previously dated someone who lived in South Carolina, so LA is nothing in terms of distance.”

Jacobs added that Apple invited her to Los Angeles a week later, and “The rest is history.”
The couple is an Instagram official a few months after the first meeting, a year after she divorced Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel.
The couple dated for more than a year before they divorced in 2018, but not after appearing on Southern Charm and arguing with Kathryn Dennis, Ravenel’s ex and mother of his two children.
