South Carolina DB Jammie Robinson Moves to Florida

Florida State landed another pass on the defensive side of the ball. Sunday afternoon the former South Carolina defense defended Jammie Robinson announced the big news from his social media accounts. Robinson leaves South Carolina after two seasons.

The 5-foot corner, 11, 195 pounds, brings experience and athletics to the FSU secondary. Robinson has played in ten games this past season, scoring 73 tackles and 1 INT. Robinson has three years to play two once he arrives in Tallahassee.

In 2019, Robinson was named Freshman All SEC (Coaches) and Second-Team Freshman All-America (PFF). He is originally from Leesburg (Ga.) And visited Lee High School. Robinson was ranked 32nd in the country in high school and the 393rd best player overall, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings in 2019.

Robinson is the seventh addition for FSU this season. They also added McKenzie Milton, Jarques McClellion, Andrew Perkament, Keir Thomas, DJ Williams and Jermaine Johnson.
