Source – WR Curtis Samuel signs $ 34.5 million 3-year deal with Washington Football Team

Former Carolina Panthers receiver Curtis Samuel has signed a three-year, $ 34.5 million deal with the Washington Football Team, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

A second pick in the second round by the Panthers from the state of Ohio in 2017, Samuel finally met expectations last season under offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who took advantage of the speedster’s ability to play receiver and back to run like at university.

Samuel scored the best 77 catches for 851 yards and 41 runs for 200 yards as Brady used the 24-year-old (August 11) as he was planning to use running back Christian McCaffrey, who missed 13 games with injuries has.

The most impressive statistic of Samuel last season was his catch figure (79.4%) which led the NFL receivers and the previous three seasons was his 56.3% rate. He also became one of the league leaders catching for the third time for the first time.

In 53 professional matches, he has 185 receptions for 2087 yards and 14 starting receptions and 478 rushing spots and five rushing runs. Although injuries limited him to just 22 games during the first two seasons, he has appeared in 31 of 32 games over the past two seasons.

ESPN’s David Newton contributed to this report.
