SoulCycle instructor who received COVID-19 vaccine apologizes

The SoulCycle instructor-to-the-stars, who justified accepting a coronavirus vaccine by describing herself as an ‘educator’, apologized for the move in an Instagram post on Monday.

Stacey Griffith, 52, took to social media mea culpa after taking pictures of Instagram users – as well as Mayor Bill de Blasio.

“I want to apologize to my heart for my recent actions in receiving the vaccine,” Griffith wrote in the post. “I made a terrible mistake of judgment and I regret it.”

Griffith, who counts among her devoted Madonna and Kelly Ripa, received the highly coveted vaccine at Port Richmond High School on the North Shore of Staten Island on Friday, despite apparently not meeting the current standards for vaccination under the New York legislation did not comply.

Griffith, under pressure from The Daily Beast, said she qualifies for the vaccine because she is an ‘educator’ – schoolteachers are one of those currently eligible in New York – and claims she uses her fame to ‘ to get a positive effect. example.

In a statement issued Monday morning, SoulCycle distances itself from Griffith’s actions.
