The SoulCycle instructor-to-the-stars who justified accepting a coronavirus vaccine by describing herself as an ‘educator’ apologized in an Instagram message in a Monday post.
Stacey Griffith, 52, took to social media mea culpa after taking pictures of Instagram users – as well as Mayor Bill de Blasio.
“I want to apologize for my recent actions in receiving the vaccine,” Griffith wrote in the post. “I made a terrible mistake and I’m sorry about that.”

Griffith, who counts among her devoted Madonna and Kelly Ripa, received the highly sought-after vaccine at Port Richmond High School on the North Shore of Staten Island on Friday, although it does not appear to meet the current eligibility requirements for vaccination under New York regulations. did not meet.

“Stacey Griffith was personally applying for a vaccine in the NY COVID-19,” a SoulCycle spokeswoman said. “SoulCycle does not play a role in organizing or obtaining vaccinations for instructors or other employees, nor do we encourage any of our SoulCycle employees to have vaccination priority as educators.”
Griffith did not respond to requests for further comment from The Post.
