Sony’s PlayStation 5 is available at Best Buy

If you missed Target’s PS5 re-applications on Thursday, you’m in luck. Best Buy is available for the PS5 Digital Edition and PS5 models.

According to the product list, Best Buy can pick up your newly purchased PS5 at a local Best Buy store. No delivery on either model is available.

Sony’s flagship next-generation console, starting at $ 399.99. The biggest difference between both models is that the Digital Edition can only play digital games, while the $ 500 PS5 includes a disk drive, which allows you to play both digital and physical games.

Once you have a PS5 in hand, there are a few items you will want to pick up for your console. Some of the most popular PS5 exclusives are currently Demon’s Souls Remake by Bluepoint Games and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

If you plan to play local collaborations with family or friends, an extra DualSense controller can also be a great item to pick up.

One thing I also recommend is a one-year membership to PlayStation Plus, because the benefits of having a subscription are ideal for PS5 users. It’s especially the access to the PlayStation Plus collection, an exclusive benefit for PS5 owners, that gives access to ‘generation-determining’ titles released on the console’s predecessor, such as Person 5 and Ratchet & Clank.
