Sony’s PlayStation 5 is available at Best Buy [Update: Sold Out]

Update 5 March 2021 13:00 ET: Best Buy is sold out on both the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition models. If you are still looking for a Xbox Series S, it is still available on the dealer’s website.

The PlayStation 5 has been available for over three months now. Since then, it has been one of the most difficult articles to acquire. If you are looking for another chance to get this console, Best Buy can buy the PS5 Digital Edition and PS5 models.

If you’ve been looking for an Xbox Series X / S, Best Buy has also refurbished the next generation of Microsoft consoles today.

Sony’s next generation console, starting at $ 399.99. The biggest difference between both models is that the Digital Edition can only play digital games, while the $ 500 PS5 includes a disk drive, which allows you to play both digital and physical games.

It’s especially the access to the PlayStation Plus collection, an exclusive benefit for PS5 owners, that gives access to ‘generation-defining’ titles originally released on PS4, including Bloodthirsty, Person 5, en Uncharted IV: A Thief’s End.

There’s no way yet to expand the SSD storage in your PS5, but Sony is reportedly expanding the options for more SSD storage sometime this summer. But if you want to store older PS4 titles on your console so that you do not use your limited SSD storage, I recommend that you purchase an external hard drive to store the titles.
