Sony Patent Can Indicate Upgraded DualSense Controller Plans

A Sony patent may have hinted at a possible future review of the DualSense controller. As reported by Respawn First, a patent on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website indicates that Sony may be working to implement a Wi-Fi receiver in future peripherals. .

With the technology, controllers can provide input via a Wi-Fi receiver as well as the standard Bluetooth receiver found in both Dualshock 4 and DualSense. Which of the two input signals that the PlayStation first reaches will be used.
