Someone tells Elon Musk that bandanas are not face masks

Who: Elon Musk

Location: West Hollywood.

What he wears: A black tee celebrating the 50th anniversary of Apollo XI, black jeans, a leather jacket and a black-and-white bandana.

Notes from the editor: Do not be an idiot. It was only a few weeks ago that we saw a maskless Musk approaching with Joe Rogan and Dave Chappelle (shortly before comedian Covid picked up). But even with all the money and scientific knowledge at his disposal, Musk has not learned to mask properly.

Over the past year, the bandana has emerged as the face mask for celebrities who do not yet have the memo (Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis et al). Certainly, guidance on masks from authorities was confusing and sometimes contradictory, and health officials had previously urged the public not to buy masks, due to a major shortage of important protective equipment. But if you can colonize Mars, you can use an N95 respirator, especially if you go out to eat in a pandemic.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, a bandana is useful, but only if you used the material as a basis to make your own poem mask. Binding one around your face will not help you much to protect you or others, and will pass on a boomerang, ‘IDGF’ attitude to those around you.

Fortunately, the mask game has progressed far over the past year, which means you can protect yourself and others while looking good. PPE equipment is now firmly woven into the everyday fabric and is manufactured by people like Marine Conservatives and Off-White ™.
