Someone finally figured out how to get the bow of AC Valhalla Nodens as Ubisoft intended.
For the uninitiated, an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla player came across a way to get the absurdly powerful Isu bow a few days ago by simply chopping down a pile of stones, the director says. Darby McDevitt soon cleared up was not the intended method of Ubisoft. “FYI this is a clever brute force hack, not the ‘right’ way to get this bow. There’s an ‘in the world’ way to achieve this,” McDevitt wrote.
YouTuber Access The Animus declared victory in the race today to find out how to find the Arc Isu bow of the AC Valhalla Nodens. In a video statement, ATA goes over the various steps needed to get the OP bow, and well, you still have to crush the rocks, but with a specific sword and at a specific time of day.
Without minimizing ATA’s impressive detective work, the answer to finding the Nodens’ Arc arch in the right way lies in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Collector’s Edition steel book. The material contains clues written in Isu that ATA was able to decode using some friendly clues from the creator of the Isu language and Ubisoft Associate Game Director, Antoine Henry.
Watch the full video at the top, because Ubisoft’s mystery is surprisingly cryptic and ATA deserves credit for cracking the code, but here’s the quick and dirty: you need to get the Excalibur sword, go to the same stack of rocks you used the hack, and bash immediately with sunset.
I’m not sure how anyone would discover this organically, much less someone without the Collector’s Edition material to find the clues, but it’s an incredible achievement from ATA nonetheless.
