As we reported, Mia and her mother, Nicole, was charged last year with another crime that was publicly intoxicated – more within a minute. But the day after Miya was charged, police in Malibu changed her driving and pulled her over.
According to law enforcement, TMZ … Miya was in a changed condition and said she took a Xanax and had some wine. Cops asked her to get out of her Range Rover, and then the madness began.
When she got out, we are told that the police said they wanted to perform a sobriety test, which she refused, and the police say she was downright combative. According to our sources, the police tried to handcuff her, but she resisted and they took her to the ground.
At that point, police say Miya threw a tantrum, kicked the ground, hit her body and even hit her head on the sidewalk.
As we reported, she was taken to jail and book for DUI. She offered no contest and received a three-year probationary period, 30 hours of community service, and she has to take an alcohol and drug counseling program for 9 months.

As you know, Miya was in a fancy NYC hotel last month when she realized she did not have her iPhone and immediately the 14-year-old son of the Grammy-winning musician, Zero, Keyon Harold, who had an iPhone, accuse the child stealing from her phone. She attacked Keyon Jr. and the police in New York now want to talk to her.
She appears to be having problems with hotels, as she and her mother were at the Peninsula Hotel in Bev Hills early last year where employees asked them in vain to leave after getting drunk. Police arrived, Miya’s mother, Nicole, allegedly pushed and kicked an officer. The mother was arrested because she had an officer and was drunk in public. Miya was arrested because he was also drunk in public. They pleaded not guilty and will be tried next month.

Miya’s since leaving NYC and returned to her home in LA … where she does not seem very remorseful about the whole thing.
