So far, 100,000 doses of COVID-19 have been administered under iOS

DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) – Vaccinations for the new coronavirus have so far reached just over 85,000 people in Iowa, according to new state data released Monday.

According to current data from Sunday, the Iowa Department of Public Health said 85,382 people are starting their two-dose vaccine range. Of these, 5,652 people completed their vaccination course.

The top five counties according to total doses administered to residents are Polk (12,656), Johnson (9,411), Linn (6,797), Scott (3,580) and Dubuque (3,073). Linn County has the largest number of people with a completed vaccination series at 1,416, followed by Polk (1,410), Johnson (749) and Dubuque (558) and Scott (422).
