It seems like the best television moment of 2021 has already taken place.
Shortly after the ball fell – and the East Coast of the US officially entered in 2021 – Cohen and Cooper welcomed Snoop Dogg as a remote guest via a video link.
“I want to play a game with you because you smoke like that beforehand,” Cohen told the rapper. “I want to play a game with you called Did You Get High There?”
The host then explained that he was about to name a series of places and that Snoop Dogg would say if he had smoked marijuana in each of them.
“I like it,” Snoop Dogg said softly.
“Did you get a yacht high?” Ask Cohen, to whom Snoop Dogg enthusiastically proclaims: “I! Has! Gotten! High! There! ”
Cohen then asked, “Did you get a highlight in the White House?” – to which Snoop Dogg replied, “Yes, yes, yes.”
That’s when Cooper began to express his dismay and laughter in response to Cohen and Snoop’s exchange.
“What happens?” Cooper thinks after Cohen asked Snoop Dogg, “Did you reach a climax at Martha Stewart’s house?” (Stewart and Snoop presented the program Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party for three seasons.)
“Let me deal with it,” Cohen told Cooper, just before Snoop Dogg replied with what would remain his slogan for most of the game: “Yes, yes, yes!”
Cohen asked Snoop if he had reached a climax ‘at a bar mitzvah’ (‘Yes, yes, yes!’), And asked Cooper to ask between the two giggles, ‘Where am I? Where am I? “
More venues included an ‘NFL Football Match’ (‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I’m almost thrown out!’), ‘An Awards Show’ (‘Yeah, yeah, yeah!’) And ‘The Oscars’. “I’ve never been to the Oscars, but if I go, you better know I’m going to do it,” said Snoop Dogg.
Finally, Cohen asked Snoop Dogg, “Did you reach a climax … on CNN?” Sincerely, as always, the artist replies, “No, but in front of the CNN building on Sunset Boulevard I have!” Cooper laughed so hard in response that he briefly left the frame.
He could still be heard bursting out laughing when Cohen asked his follow-up: “Did you get a highlight … at the DMV?” – which was relatively rare: “That would be a no-no” by Snoop.
Cohen’s last question was, “Did you reach a climax … at a breeze?” It was welcomed with more laughter from Cooper, and even Snoop Dogg had to take a few moments to gather himself before declaring, “Yes, yes, yes!”
Cooper exclaimed in disbelief, “No!” but Snoop Doog insisted, “This is the Dogg of all Doggs we’re talking about, Andy!”
