‘SNL’ mocks Cuomo, but does not mention the old age home scandal

‘Saturday Night Live’ took a look at the appearance and reopening of the New York Government’s government, Andrew Cuomo, but his death scandal in the nursing home did not mention.

Michael Che, ‘Host of the Weekend Update’, compared Cuomo to Moe Szyslak, a bar owner of ‘The Simpsons’, while explaining that the COVID-19 vaccine for people with underlying conditions has been expanded in New York .

“The New York government, Andrew Cuomo, who is a real model for Moe Szyslak, has announced that more New Yorkers will be eligible for the COVID vaccine from next week,” Che said.

“New Yorkers will have to provide documentation of their condition and answer medical questions such as, ‘What is this?'” He continued.

Che’s co-host, Colin Jost, then peeked in to refer Cuomo’s plan to reopen sports stadiums to fans.

“The Cuomo government has also announced that it will allow sports facilities to be opened from February 23, but this is limited to ten percent capacity – better known as Jets level,” Jost said.

However, it did not go unnoticed that the segment ignored the damning recognition that its office covers thousands of deaths in the COVID-19 nursing home.

“Nice that @nbcsnl on 2WeekendUpdate had 2 pieces on #Cuomo, but did not say that Cuomo was exposed because he sent elderly people to die to #COVID in #nursing homes,” wrote one Twitter user. “Wow. What a * easy * layout joke for #SNL, yet ..”

Another added, ‘Typical snl bias. No notable fact is that Cuomo killed thousands. Could have done a number on him, but not. They are really cowards. ”

The Post revealed that Cuomo’s leading aide, Melissa DeRosa, on Thursday admitted to lawmakers that her boss hid data on the death toll from the coronavirus among residents of nursing homes to prevent them from having to share it with the federal government.
