Sniper Ghost Warrior is back, with even more ridiculous bloody deaths

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, beginning in June, is the latest installment in the first-person-shooter-sub-sub-sub-genre of rogue / comic bloody slow death popularized by CI Games and Rebellion’s rival Sniper Elite franchise.

In fact, this first glance at the game is so cruel that we can not even include the piston.

I would offer a content alert for blood, brain tissue and numerous head shells flying like frisbees. A news release from CI Games mentions “extreme range of targets over 1000 meters away”, but there is much more traditional shooting and melee as the user makes their way to the perfect seat for the climax of the level.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 was played in ‘modern contemporary Middle East’, although from the available devices and the evil Quarian outcome that the player character carries, I would say that near future is also an appropriate term. Players plan their deaths on five different sand maps and will face “smarter opponents with improved tactics”.

The game’s repeatable mission structure follows 2019 Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, who withdrew from the open-world ambitions of the poorly received Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 of 2017. CI Games has promised that these new consoles will utilize the capabilities and loading times to deliver the “the most beautiful Sniper Ghost Warrior game so far. Thus, the NPCs’ temporal, parietal and occipital bones will disperse in 4K resolution as well as a fine red mist.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 launches June 4 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
