San Luis Obispo County on Friday added 324 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the province’s total to 15,102 confirmed cases on January 15th.
Health officials say 50 people have been admitted to hospital. Another 2,675 people are recovering and health officials say 12,220 people have recovered.
San Luis Obispo County reports that 17 of the 38 licensed and manned ICU beds in the country are currently occupied. Six of them are taken by COVID-19 patients.
San Luis Obispo County attributed 128 deaths to COVID-19, an increase of three from the previous day.

The location of 80 additional cases is being investigated, and another eight are being referred to as ‘other’, which includes communities with less than five cases. The Department of Public Health does not identify these sites.
Joint COVID-19 testing sites are currently open to the public in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Morro Bay, Grover Beach and Nipomo.
