The incredibly deep roguelike deck building RPG Kill the Spire get the table top treatment, board game makers, Contention Games, recently announced and let people in real life explore the game’s inventive card battles.
According to Contention’s website, the Kill the Spire board games can allow up to four players, and rounds last 45 minutes each (a little less than beating an entire run through the existing video game).
There is not yet a whole lot of other information about the version of the tabletop, but based on the description, it seems like the basic premise of fighting through a series of dungeons, using maps to attack and casting spells remain, will remain intact.

Battle, which also made the card-based 4X strategy game Empire: the battle, holds an official Kickstarter for the Kill the Spire board game some time this spring. (Empire was also funded in this way with sets just sent to fans.)
Many video games have recently received tabletop adjustments. Just last September, CMON announced that it would be making an official board game based on the movie shooter The last of us. Kill the Spire, since it’s a video game that plays almost like a tabletop, it should be a more straightforward adaptation.
