Slack is back for more than three hours for some

At least the new year does not start for Slack. The messaging platform in the workplace interrupted for more than three hours on Monday, preventing some users from sending messages or connecting to the service.

Slack was up and running again for many people around 10:00 PT, although the company said on its status page that it was still working to resolve the issues completely and that some customers could ‘experience poor performance’.

The company confirmed the outage with a report on its status page at 07:14 PT. “Customers may have difficulty loading channels or connecting to Slack at this time,” the company wrote. “Our team is investigating and we will follow up on more information as soon as we have it. We apologize for any disruption.”

It is not clear what caused the outage or when normal service will be fully restored. “We are continuing to investigate connectivity issues for customers and have upgraded the incident on our part to reflect an interruption in service,” the company told PT at 8:20 p.m. ”

A Slack spokesman said after the @SlackStatus Twitter Account for updates.

Slack is being acquired by business software giant Salesforce for $ 27.7 billion, an agreement announced in December.

The interruption quickly propelled Slack to the top of Twitter’s Trending Topics in the US, while people flocked to the social media site to share their thoughts.
