Skillibeng shares footage for ‘Coke’ on a wrecked plane, fans say he needs ‘quality control’ – DancehallMag

EastSyde Records’ Skillibeng continues to push the envelope in his tracks in more law-breaking narratives. His latest release, Coke while self-explanatory is not as enlightening as his new music video.

Director Beans Edital dropped the visual, which is currently the best spot in Jamaica, on the artist’s Vevo page yesterday to find Skilli in another of his entertaining conspiracies. This time, the suspected plane crash took place in Clarendon, Jamaica, just over a week ago.

According to Skilli, he contributed to the entire operation, which led to the plane making an emergency landing on the coast of Rocky Point in the township. Skillibeng uses a clip of the Prime Time News coverage for the introduction of the track, as investigations continue into what really happened.

Linked to a sketch from the 1999 Jamaican action crime film, Third World Cop, Skilli reveals: ‘This plane just crashes with di-coke … di-pilot with a di-coke. Mi stays seh di plane lands and it’s blowing up now. With his rifles loaded and ammunition piled up, he and his ‘strangers’ took the goods out of the plane and left for ‘trampling the road’.

The Vars Prins says he is not a user but rather about the business, ‘Mi nuh put it in a mi nose. Oh, sell me, sell it like a shop … 1 million plus tax for a key. Tell a rat not to scoop up my cheese. Stranger catches a catches it, carries a shot, and carries a crocodile.

The music video depicts every scene of Skilli’s scheme, from broken fishing boats en route to the accident at sea, to the deejay sitting inside and sometimes on top of the half – sunken plane while dishing out his lyrical plot.

Skillibeng, however, gets mixed reactions from the fans.

“How does Skillibeng shoot a video with the plane being ‘investigated’?” said one Twitter user. Another said: ‘Tell the commissioner now’ the plane crash with a di-coke ‘and someone else said:’ Police are looking at Skillibeng-Coke. ‘

While some enjoy it, Skilli’s new version does not feel the effort important, referring to the track as weak: ‘If the next 3 songs of the flip flip, it’s over, because coke plane never hit LMAO,’ said a follower and another agreed: ‘Skillibeng I should have thought he had reached the Midas touch so far. He is mistaken. Sorry to say, but I do not think Coke is it. ‘

Skillibeng needs a little quality control, ”said another fan.
