MTV reality star Julia Rose was among six arrested for changing the letters of the iconic Hollywood sign on Monday to read ‘HOLLYBOOB’.
Rose told DailyMail.com she orchestrated the LA-based stunt in censorship protests after her Instagram account, with five million followers, was suspended this year for nudity.
The 27-year-old, best known for her appearance on MTV’s reality show Are You the One? and also went out with the infamous YouTube star Jake Paul until last year, pulling off the trick with the help of YouTube comedian Jack Tenney, who was also arrested.
Rose shared a photo of her in front of the edited sign on Twitter as she slammed off the camera and stuck out her tongue.
The Instagram model, who believes that influencers have been unfairly affected by the moral policies of social media, has borne a brief harvest with the Shagmag logo – for the website she founded for fellow Instagram models.
“It was to show them that I still have a voice,” she told DailyMail.com. ‘My business for Shagmag with almost one million fans is also unsuitable this year due to nudity, but I do nothing more than what Playboy does, so I think they discriminate my accounts.

Tenney, who regularly jokes in his videos, said he “could not turn down the opportunity” to help Rose.
‘She inspired people with her content and Facebook gave her no warning or anything and just took away her entire livelihood. It will make you lose. ‘
Tenney said the couple, with their four mates, do not know why the initial reports said the group organized to raise breast cancer awareness, but are glad that something positive came out of their stunt.
“At least we’re not happy about what it’s like today’s headlines. I will get all the positives out of it, ‘he said.
Rose, who recently made headlines after she and fellow influencer Lauren Summer flickered their breasts for now-Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole, added that she had previously tried to donate to organizations, including the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, but was turned down because of the type of content she brings out.
She has since been banned from all Major League Baseball stadiums and facilities indefinitely, according to a letter she received from the league.
The duo said Monday’s scam was the third time the team had tried to do the same stunt in the past six months.

“We tried to get it twice in October. The first time we had two giant sails each weighing 200 pounds with which we tried to go uphill. That’s why we hampered the idea and decided to go from the top, ‘Rose said.
Tenney said the team was finally able to get the sails to the board by going ‘from top to bottom’.
“We put everything in a stroller with a fake baby on top and a nice blanket to cover the stroller,” he said.
“It’s the only way we pulled it off unnoticed, with a stroller and taken to the top.”
But everyone in the area kept the couple asking their child during the ‘COVID friendly stroll’, Rose said.
‘I think our biggest victory was to turn the D into a B with a small sail. We had a great time and we were just tired of doing it as fast as possible and had to improvise a bit, ‘Tenney added.
Cops announced the arrest of the six jokes on Twitter, describing it as “cool.”

The two said it was funny when they were questioned by policemen after their arrest because the police wanted to know how the team knew what size the sails should be.
‘The [Hollywood Sign Trust] put the exact dimensions on their website and it was very useful for us, ‘said Rose.
Tenney said he hopes the prank puts a smile on people’s faces.
‘A lot of people are cracking up in their homes right now, and that’s a good feeling. Smiles are important, especially in these times, ‘he said.
Tenney added that the duo expected to be arrested for the prank, saying police were “super nice and let’s work together.”
“They were calm and we were calm,” he said.
‘We already knew [from the helicopters] we were caught and there would be consequences. ‘
The influencers would not tell DailyMail.com what their next ploy would be.

Rose tweeted around 11pm on Monday that she had been released from prison before sharing the TMZ video with the caption: “the one time I changed the Hollywood sign to #hollyboob.”
LAPD Capt. Steve Lurie, the commander of the Hollywood area, told the Los Angeles Times that LAPD security personnel observed the jokes on video surveillance around 1:15 p.m.
Videos posted on Twitter show a police helicopter exploring the area while the group performed their trick before being arrested by officers and rangers.
A few hours ago, a group tried to vandalize the Hollywood sign. Los Angeles beacons are precious to us @LAPDHollywood, and it was very cool (not to mention the terrain is quite steep and dangerous), ‘Lurie tweeted.
Lurie said the jokers would be quoted with offense and released.
“There is no vandalism because the board was not damaged,” he told the Los Angeles Times.
Griffith Park surrounds the sign, but it is not accessible to the public. It is privately maintained by the Hollywood Sign Trust, which condemned the stunt on Twitter.
