Winner: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
As we get older all the time in 2020, the restored parks and treasures of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 gave us a precious respite. It’s not easy to make this game again – several attempts over the years have proven it – so the success here feels extra sweet for beleaguered THPS fans. We want this success to lead to a new original title, but we’re afraid we’ll start the cycle of disappointment again. Instead we will just keep this one!
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
How do you follow up on such a beautiful, polished platform? Well! As it turns out, you can only do one second of it! Clearly, the team at Moon Studios learned a lot during the development of the first game, and the second shows a new consistency and flow as a result. Whether it’s the original version or the well-made Switch port, but you’re also playing Ori, you will have a good time.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Even on the old generation consoles, Yakuza: Like a Dragon brings a lot of charm and value. Sure, the loads are longer! Of course you will handle some lower frames and less textures! But the value of Like a dragon stay over. This is a new, fresh Yakuza, and you should play it as you can.
