‘The Lambs’ was led to slaughter.
In the biggest canine drama since Armie Hammer, CBS’s “Silence Of The Lambs” spin-off “Clarice” is singled out by the crime drama, which demands the return of NBC’s canceled “Hannibal” series in its place.
The hashtag “#HannibalDeservesMore” started trending on social media on Friday morning.
‘Clarice’, which was heavily advertised during the 2021 Super Bowl, follows the untold story of the hot FBI agent Clarice Starling (played by Rebecca Breeds) when she returns to work when she catches the cannibal serial killer Hannibal Lecter.
The series takes place a year after 1991, ‘The Silence of the Lambs’, based on the Thomas Harris novel of the same name – starring Jodie Foster as Clarice and Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter.
The CBS drama is the first version of ‘Silence’ since NBC’s ‘Hannibal’, which explores the early relationship between Lecter (played by Mads Mikkelsen) and the gifted criminal Prof Will Graham (Hugh Dancy). Despite being praised for his scenic performances and excellent food pornography portrayals, the killer was slammed after three seasons in 2015, a decision that angered his rabid fans, which launched a petition calling for the to save beloved series.
“Hannibal” has now renewed their calls for revival of the program after determining that ‘Clarice’ has no teeth.
‘They looked like, it’s nothing like’ Hannibal ‘. Tweet a critic of “Clarice”, note that the CBS show scored a meager 36% on Rotten Tomatoes compared to 92% of its predecessor.
Another wonder, “What keeps networks from picking up #Hannibal ?? Did you see the question ??? ”
“This is #HannibalDeservesMore day !!! Share your love and #SaveHannibal al @netflix !!!! It tweeted a fannibal.
The creator of “Hannibal”, Bryan Fuller, was moved by the support, Tweeting: “#HANNIBALDESERVESMER THANK YOU, #FannibalFamily”
No word or “Hannibal” will see a return.
