A man claims to have found the tail end of shrimp in his cereal – something that assures General Mills that he may not be the case, but he certainly does not buy it.
Author / Manufacturer Jensen Karp which he claims was a rough morning breakfast session, documented Monday and posted photos of various artifacts he said he found in his new box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. He says he found shrimp tails in it … 2 of them are exactly !!!
Jensen started by asking (and officially marking) CTC’s Twitter account why there were apparently crustaceans in his newly unsealed box … which caused quite a journey he described as apologies and gaslight.
Ok, after further investigation with my eyes, these are cinnamon-covered shrimp tails, you strangers. I was not so crazy until you tried to burn me now? https://t.co/7DmADmoqUt pic.twitter.com/rSLE60pvoy

Cinnamon Toast Crunch first responded by apologizing and asking for more details … while also offering a new box as a quick fix. Then CTC claimed that its quality control team came to the conclusion on closer inspection that they were not shrimp tails … but simply large, dried-up sugar cubes!
Jensen – who is married to the “Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel, BTW – apparently did not accept the answer … when he posted close-ups of the alleged shrimp tails. He claims to have dug even further and found more coarse stuff … including a small piece of rope and small stains of black rubbish on some of the grain.
Many of the squares also have black markings, and some are colored red? And yes, I ate a bowl before I noticed it. pic.twitter.com/Y9WWmsTznP

@JensenKarp
Some people on the internet have thought that these things are mouse or rat droppings … which opens up a whole other can of worms that make us think when we think about it.
About where things ended here … Jensen says he’s on his way back to Costco – where he bought the cereal – to get answers. He is also waiting for more from CTC’s parent company General Mills.
We also reached out to General Mills … so far, no word back.
