Shovel Knight joins the fight in For Honor

Skop Knight, the indie platform hero with a set of blue armor and a distinctive shovel, was all around the block and came in quite a few games. Now, the knight comes to Ubisoft’s For honor, or at least his armor.

For honor is about great warriors who wipe it out with troop weapons so that the warriors have access to his big, blue, horned helmet, as well as another Shovel Knight-inspired outfits, emotions and executions. It’s all nicely pixelated, and reminiscent of the Skop Knight art style, which is a bit anachronistic in Ter ere, but it still achieves important style points.

Skop Knight was strangely common as a cameo in other games, perhaps due to the popularity of the game. He shows up with other characters from the original platform in Cook, Serve, Delicious: Battle Kitchen, Path redemption, Rivals of Aether, Brawlhalla, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Knight, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Yooka-Laylee, and he is even an aid trophy in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

For honor joined the list, but the animations and outfits will only be available until March 4th.
