Shooting at Fresno Mall in California calls for hunt for suspects

A manhunt was underway on Saturday night for at least two suspects in California after gunfire in a Fresno mall.

Authorities evacuated the Fashion Fair Mall after gunshots were heard and one person injured, police in Fresno said, according to FOX 26 and KGPE-TV in Fresno.

Two officers, one a sergeant who was not on duty, said they heard gunshots near the entrance of the mall and found one injured victim who ran away from the scene before officers in the area were able to provide assistance.

According to the police in Fresno, it appears that at least one man opened fire at the shopping center during a confrontation between two small groups of men, according to FOX 26.
