Shiny Nosepass arrives in Pokémon GO: search for legend opportunity

Niantic has the full details of the first event of Pokémon GO‘s Season of Legends: The Search for Legends Opportunity. During this five-day event, Shiny Nosepass is released, as well as Timed Research exploring certain legendary Pokémon. Let’s look at the details.

Here is everything we need from the Pokémon GO blog announcement:

  • Date + time: Tuesday 9 March 2021 at 10:00 to Sunday 14 March 2021 at 20:00 local time. In essence, we have two days of normal play after Fletchling Community Day before it starts.
  • Shiny Nosepass will be released, and it’s not a situation like Rufflet where you have to step in to find one. Niantic confirms that Nosepass “will appear in greater numbers to help you sniff out clues along with a variety of Pokémon from the ground, from rock, and from steel.”
  • Pokémon includes: Diglett, Geodude, Magnemite, Nosepass, Aron, Baltoy, Roggenrola, Drilbur, and more.
  • Like the previous Kanto event, the incense will have a theme with occasions and attract Pokémon other than those found in the wild, although there is some overlap. Here is the current list of species that will be attracted to Incense: Alolan Diglett, Alolan Geodude, Magnemite, Nosepass, Aron, Lairon, Beldum, Roggenrola, Drilbur, and more.
  • Pokémon hatching from 5 km eggs: Magnemite, Nosepass, Aron, Baltoy, Beldum and Drilbur. Nothing is too crazy here, so it looks like an event that will be much more focused on hunting in the wild and sending out Incense rather than an egg outburst.
  • The complete raid includes:
    • Level one: Alolan Diglett, Nosepass, Roggenrola, Drilbur, Ferroseed and Klink.
    • Level three: Alolan Graveler, Magneton, Skarmory and Methang.
  • There will be a time frame investigation going through the event, which we currently know to reward encounters with Nosepass.

As more details come in, Bleeding Cool readers can look forward to coverage outlining the tasks and benefits of the research, as well as tips on what expeditions are worth passing and what your strip pass is worth.
