“Hello everyone. My name is Kazuyuki Yamai, the director of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster.

“The original Shin Megami Tensei III was released in 2003 for PlayStation 2. 18 years later, on May 25, 2021, the game is released in the west, and for the first time in Shin Megami Tensei history, worldwide on Steam! And you can pre-order the game now!

Shin Megami Tensei III is a very award-winning title in Atlus’ history. It is also the keystone RPG title that serves as the basis Person 5, another title that fans love. As such, we really focused on respecting the original game when we reused it. On top of that, we recreated the footage in HD and introduced many aspects of the game. I feel like we could really make the classic game a modern revival. And we also added a brand new voice-over track, as well as a new difficulty mode, ‘MERCY’.

“With these new features, we hope that newcomers to the series can facilitate the game and have a pleasant experience playing it. To all our years long time Shin Megami Tensei fans and any newcomers who will experience it Shin Megami Tensei for the first time we really hope you will enjoy the unique world that Shin Megami Tensei III offer.

“It’s only a few months until the launch now. But we appreciate your patience and continue to look forward to playing the game! ”
