Shaq pays off the debt of the human engagement ring in generous act captured on video

Just call him the Great Good Samaritan …

Shaq paid off a young man’s engagement ring at a jewelry store in Georgia this week – and the amazing gesture was all captured on video.

The Big Diesel explained on Tuesday night how it all went down on ‘NBA on TNT’ … and said he was in a Zales in the Atlanta area on Monday to buy some earrings when he noticed that a man was stressed over an account.

Shaq says the man was trying to come up with a way to draw up a payment plan for a ring he bought for his girlfriend … when the NBA legend felt he just needed to step in.

“I saw the man come in – he was just as shy,” Shaq said. “He said, ‘Hey, how much do I owe to pay off my ring?’

“And I was like, ‘My husband, how much does the ring cost?’ I’m not going to say the amount, but it’s not much for me. ‘

So, Shaq knocked out his credit card – and immediately paid for it !!

“I was like, ‘You know what? Tell your girlfriend I found her,'” Shaq said. “I will take care of it. ”

Shaq added: “At first he did not want to take it. He was like, ‘Man, I can not do this.’ I said, “Don’t worry about it. I do it all the time.” I’m just trying to make people smile, that’s all. ‘

The two then posed for a photo – and it was really very freakin ‘!!

But the best part of the story? Shaq says he recently had an even more generous performance in a furniture store and paid a bill for a lovely family there.

“This lady, she had an autistic daughter,” Shaq said. ‘And she wanted to pay for furniture too, and I just took care of her. I want to make people happy. ‘

“When I leave home, I just try to do a good deed.”
