Former “Very Cavallari” alum Shannon Ford, who was fired by Kristin Cavallari in the now forged reality show, opens up about hanging out with Jay Cutler amid his divorce and a feud with her former boss outside the camera.
“People do not realize it, I was with my mom and grandma,” the reality star revealed on Dear Media’s ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast on Tuesday. ‘That video does not show my mother and my grandmother were there. That was how not spicy it was. ”
In November, Cutler (37) shocked ‘Very Cavallari’ fans when he posted a video on Instagram of drinking with Ford (27) in Charleston, after Cavallari (34) found the former James employee ‘unprofessional’ and ‘ called ‘disrespectful’. on camera.
However, Ford told host Amanda Hirsch, ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’, that she initially wanted to meet with talent agent Mark Block at a bar and did not realize Cutler was there as well.
The former reality star said she was reluctant to meet because she thought, ‘Oh no, Jay hates me,’ but when Block told her Cutler did not mind joining her, she showed up.
Ford said she “does not know the reasons” why Cutler posted a video of it, but said he was apparently not an avid social media user.
‘[The video] was on his [Instagram] Story and he says, ‘I’m confused. Where do I type the caption? ” Claim Ford Cutler told her. “That’s how far he is from social media.”
She added: ‘I did not post it. I did not look thirsty. When I got there, I put my phone very far away because I think they might be thinking like, ‘Oh Shannon would love this. She would enjoy nothing but attention, and I wanted to be the cool girl who enjoyed a drink with her friend and Jay. ”
Ford said she thinks the former NFL star posted it as “funny”.
Ford also revealed that she has not kept in touch with Cavallari after being fired from her reality show, but claims the former “Laguna Beach” star once tried to stop her from pursuing brand offers after she left the show.
‘[Cavallari] “sent me a message like, ‘You can not make a trademark deal …’ bitch gets her f-king bag,” Ford said. ‘Like, you’re a millionaire going out with another quadruple millionaire. I’m a 23 year old girl trying to pay rent. ”
The now influencer, who boasts more than 300,000 followers on Instagram, added: ‘Do not tell me I can not do an advertisement for something after you just took my lifebuoy away by kicking me off the show and me to resign. Do not do this. ”
Ford said Cavallari allegedly claimed the trademark transactions were a “direct violation” of their agreement, and threatened to take legal action.
Ford said she replied, ‘Here’s my lawyer’s number. You’re welcome to talk to them about the matter, ” after which she claims Cavallari wrote back: ‘Hahaha lol k.’
A Cavallari representative did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
