Serie A In Napoli’s match against Atalanta
There was a disturbing moment towards the end of Atalanta‘s 4-2 win over Naples on Sunday evening as Victor Osimhen fell on the field and had to be sidelined.
The forward hit his head after a challenge with Cristian Romero and he lost consciousness.
His teammates and the Atalanta players were clearly worried as soon as they noticed what was happening, and some even asked for oxygen. The TV cameras did not even focus on the player anymore, a sign that something was very wrong.
He was urgently attended by doctors and was taken to the nearby Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital to go for further tests.
Fortunately, several Italian reporters said he regained consciousness while in the ambulance.
