Serie A Sweden denies accusations
Zlatan Ibrahimovic quickly slammed back on accusations of racism regarding comments he made Romelu Lukaku while AC Milan’s Coppa Italia defeat to Inter Tuesday night.
The two were both discussed when they closed horns and exchanged insults on the field, and one remark from Zlatan attracted particular attention.
“Call your mom, do your voodoo shit,” Ibrahimovic allegedly said Lukaku.
The voodoo reference sparked suggestions of racism, but the Swedish forward was quick to confuse the idea.
“In Zlatan‘s world, there is no room for racism, ” Ibrahimovic posted to an Instagram post.
“We are all one race. We are all equal. We are all footballers, some better than others.”
Ibrahimovic posted the message along with a viral video clip showing two young boys, one black and one white, embracing each other.
