Serial stowaway, Marilyn Hartman, arrested again at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport

CHICAGO – Authorities say a woman with a history of flying away from planes was arrested for attempting to sneak on a flight at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

Tuesday’s arrest of Marilyn Hartman came two weeks after a judge rejected a plea deal for an earlier attempt to flee.

She also has arrests related to the airport in Arizona.

The 69-year-old Hartman is now in custody on a felony charge. Hartman allegedly left the facility where she was staying while on electronic monitoring.

With the device, Cook County deputy delegates were able to locate her when she was on her way to O’Hare. Deputies activated an alarm on Hartman’s device as she approached Terminal 1, where she was arrested.
