Panama’s main beauty contest will allow for the first time the participation of transgender women in its certificates from this year.
The Panamanian Senama announced the months in a statement issued by the decision following the rules of the Miss Universe Organization, with which it has an alliance, and in which case it guarantees the inclusion.

The Senorita Panamá crowned for this edition of Miss Universe 2018 to one indigenous queen, Rosa Iveth Montezuma, who was seen as a master of the competition to encourage the inclusion in a country where the original groups suffer a historical margin.
