Sen Johnson pleads for Chuck Todd for showing ‘really rude, unprofessionalism’ in ‘Meet the Press’ interview

EXCLUSIVE: Republican Senator Ron Johnson has sued NBC News host Chuck Todd for appearing ‘really’ unprofessional ‘during a heated interview on Sunday’s issue of’ Meet the Press’.

Johnson told Fox News that he had agreed to appear on ‘Meet the Press’ because he believed Todd wanted to discuss the coronavirus virus relief package, but that he was faced with being among the GOP senators who threatened has to contest the results of the Electoral College.

Todd opened the interview by noting that Johnson told a newspaper last month that he would not object to Electoral College certification “unless something comes up” to prove President Trump’s allegations of widespread election fraud.

“What has changed to suddenly put you on the sidelines to question the result?” Vra Todd

Johnson urged viewers to ‘actually read’ a letter he signed, along with other GOP lawmakers, outlining their plan to challenge the election of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory until an inquiry after fraud allegations have been completed.

Johnson tried to explain himself, but Todd slammed the Wisconsin Republican along the way with a series of comments, including Johnson calling him an ‘arsonist’ and claiming he helped start the ‘fire’ allegations of electoral fraud resulted in. Johnson immediately shot down Todd’s comments during the interview and expanded on them when they were reached by Fox News.

“It’s a shame that Chuck Todd showed really gross, unprofessionalism. I do not care who the American senator is, but to accuse an American senator of being an arsonist and putting words in my mouth – I have this fire not lit, “Johnson told Fox News.

NBC News declined to comment on Fox News.

JOHNSON SAYS THE APPROVAL OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION IS A ‘LONG SHOT’, at best, ‘BUT’ SOMEONE’S GOTTA ‘GETS ANSWERS

Todd also insisted during the interview that Johnson had spent a lot of time over the past two years carrying “a lot of this crazy conspiratorial water for President Trump,” and asked if he was simply trying to “give favor” to Trump supporters.

Johnson tried to answer the question, but Todd cut him off again.

“Stop it, you can not make these unproven allegations true,” Todd said before explaining to Johnson why there is a legal system that should ensure the integrity of the election. Todd further asked if the Homeland Security Committee would hold hearings on the lunar landing, suggesting rumors and allegations appear to be all that is needed for Johnson to question legitimacy.

Johnson defended himself on air and the bickering continued, but the senator feels that Todd’s outburst is merely the latest example of why Americans do not trust the mainstream media.

“The media lit this fire with Democrats and members of the FBI, the Comeys of the World who conducted a corrupt investigation. Democrats lied that they had evidence of Trump’s campaign collusion with Russia, when they testified behind closed doors “If they testified under oath,” Johnson carried it for two years, “Johnson said, referring to former FBI Director James Comey.

“What created the situation is the left, the media, the social media that is so biased that you have conservatives in America who do not trust the mainstream media,” Johnson said. “They do not trust it and why would they do it?”

Johnson believes Todd and other mainstream media members may have dismissed some fraud allegations, but they turn around and claim that voter fraud does not exist at all because they wanted Trump to lose.

“They make the full statement, it’s all brought into disrepute. No evidence, nothing to see,” Johnson said. “The press wanted Biden to win.”
