Sampath Nandi collaborated with Gopichand again and this time he hooked up his lucky mascot and Racha girl Tamanna. The film makes noise. Sampath chose a sports background this time around and made a commercial turn. Gopichand and Tamanna are Kabaddi coaches for respective teams of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Who messes with the coach of a Kabaddi team for women? What is their motive? How Gopi fights everyone forms the core of the Seetimaarr.
Director Sampath Nandi, known for capturing the pulse of masses, apparently aimed at them with Seetimaarr. The teaser promises to be a mass action movie with a sports background. It seems like the movie is being shot on a large scale. Mass one-birds are in the spot. Dialogues such as “Kabaddi… Maidanam Lo Adithe Aata, Bayata Adithe Veta” caught the bull’s eye. The action series are well shot. The producers paid particular attention to the high-octane battle scenes. Goppichand uses different weapons to hit the goons. The teaser indicates that this is a Gopichand show.
However, the film has a starring cast. Digangana Suryavanshi, of FryDay and Jalebi fame, plays an important role in the film. She is a TV journalist whose role is strongly related to the story of the film. Bhumika Chawla is seen in an important role. Rao Ramesh, Subbaraju, Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash, Dev Gill, Tarun Arora, Preethi Asrani en et al. Bigg Boss fame Akhil Sarthak is also seen in a role in the film. Mani Sharma’s background music is a great addition. The production values are good. The producers of U-Turn came up with a total mass film this time.
Will Seetimaarr make whistles in theaters? We have to wait until April 2 to find out.
