Section 2 gets new content

U-bisoft-turn

While at first it seemed that the tactical military shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Ubisoft has decided to give the mercenary one last hurray, with a bunch of new content, which would appear later in 2021.

The fourth season of DLC for The Section 2 – literally titled “End of Watch” – revolved around the pursuit of the treacherous agent Faye Lau and her group of lieutenants. Faye Lau’s faction, Black Tusk, held key areas in Washington DC, including The Pentagon itself. With the removal of Black Tusk, things seemed a little safer in the capital, which acted as an epilogue – or at least a ceasefire – to The Section 2 story arc.

Regardless, Ubisoft has The Section 2‘s official Reddit to announce new content will appear later in 2021. Massive Entertainment, which has developed The division and The Section 2 has already started pre-production on the recently announced Ubisoft Star Wars title, as well as a game based on James Cameron’s scientific franchise Avatar. The publisher previously noted that Massive – as one of Ubisoft’s largest studios – has the staff to develop multiple projects simultaneously.

No date has been announced for the new one Section 2 content outside “later this year”. So you and your running mates will only have to deal with the newly released Resident Evil cross content. But do not hang up your night fish goggles, as it seems that the battle for ‘Murica’ is far from over.
