Section 2 gets an upgrade from the next generation next week

The Divison 2 will receive an update next week with 4K resolution and support for 60 frames per second for the next generation of consoles. The news was revealed in a tweet from the user JohanLnh, an Ubisoft community developer for The Division 2.

Johan answered a fan and asked about the potential of an upcoming ‘State of the Game’, this is where The Division 2’s developers participate in a live stream to keep fans informed of the game.

“No State of the Game more”, reads the tweet. “TU12.1 will be launched on February 2 with the Resident Evil Apparel Event, a rebalance of Optimization Station costs as well as 4K 60 FPS support for next-generation consoles.”While there won’t be a standalone game this week, there will be a title update to The Division 2 on February 2, which supports 4K resolution and 60 FPS on next-generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X etc.

The update will also include some special Resident Evil apparel, including weapon skins, armbands and outfits. It is part of a collaborative promotion that takes place from 2 February to 15 February.
