Secret Service arrests woman with loaded rifle near White House, claims she had a letter for Biden

The Secret Service arrested a 66-year-old woman on Saturday on charges that she was carrying a load near the White House, Fox News confirmed.

Police said the woman had the loaded gun in her car that was parked near the White House. They said she claimed she was carrying a letter for President Joe Biden.

Police were also accompanied by a man carrying a BB rifle.

According to a police report, the suspect was arrested around 5.30pm near the Old Ebbitt Grill restaurant in NW 15.

According to police, the woman and the man approached a checkpoint near the White House complex with a BB gun. The woman apparently told a law enforcement official at the checkpoint that she wanted to hand over a letter to the president.
