DENVER – A second suspect was arrested in the murder of a man earlier this week in Monaco Parkway in Denver, police said Friday.
Tameka Lanise Dudley, 44, is facing charges of first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and theft with serious vehicles in the worst condition. Dudley was arrested near South Parker Road and East Iliff Avenue on Thursday.
Another suspect, 38-year-old Joshua Hamm, was arrested Monday when the incident happened to him just after 11:20 p.m.
A third suspect was shot dead by police during the incident as he tried to hijack three vehicles, the third of which successfully entered.
A homeowner died during the incident in the 900 block of northern Monaco. A neighbor reported that the homeowner was assaulted by three men.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the murdered homeowner as 64-year-old Mark Outman. A female family member of Outman was injured in the shooting and remained in critical condition this week.
When officers arrived there, one suspect fled on foot and two others fled in a black Honda Fit in 2009, Clark said. The suspect, who fled on foot, was arrested in Denver with a handgun in his possession, according to Lieutenant Matt Clark.

A second suspect who got out of the Honda at one point during the chase was spotted by officers as he ran down a nearby street, according to Clark. According to Clark, the suspect allegedly aimed a gun at a driver in the street. officers to fire on him.
It is unclear if the suspect was hit at the time, but according to Clark, he ran a median and threw the gun away as he continued to run. He then attempted to hijack another vehicle without success before continuing on foot in the area.
According to Clark, another officer started following before the suspect stopped two more vehicles in Monaco. He entered through the door on the passenger side of the vehicle, on which there was a woman at the time, Clark said. Moments later, the officer fired a few laps into the window at the passenger and hit the suspect, who later died at Denver Health Medical Center.
The Denver office of the medical examiner identified the man who was shot dead by police Tuesday afternoon as 47-year-old Larry Hamm and said his cause was gunshot wounds.
According to Clark, investigators have so far not removed any weapon from the vehicle, indicating that the suspect who was shot dead was not armed at the time. According to him, so far there is no indication that any of the suspects shot at officers.
A bullet from one of the officer’s guns hit a bystander vehicle during an exchange, but the round did not enter the passenger compartment, Clark said.
While the pursuit was going on, officers discovered Outman and his family member had been shot inside the house. Both were taken to hospital, but Outman was pronounced dead.
According to Clark, there was a gun found outside Outman’s home, except for the two handguns that were recovered from the two suspects. He added that investigators believe the suspects are related to residential burglaries that have recently taken place in the area.
No officers were injured in any of the incidents, and the woman, who was hit by a car hijacking, sustained several glass plate injuries, Clark said.
In all, three officers fired seven rounds during the ordeal, and no one was involved in police incidents, Clark said.
