President Luis Abinader initiated the second phase of the Santo Domingo Colonial Tourism Program at the Colonial City Tourism Program, during an activity that included a number of different towns in this historic area.

The project is expected to be executed over a period of six years, with a funding of US $ 90 million by the Interbank Bank of Development (BID), as long as it disburses US $ 30 million which will be used during the first stage.

The implementation is carried out by the Ministry of Tourism, in coordination with the Alcaldía del Distrito Nacional and the Ministry of Culture, in order to continue the rehabilitation of the city, both in its cultural and tourist aspects, as well as economically and urban.

The corridor
