Seahawks sign Damarious Randall again, move him to the corner

Damarious Randall remains in Seattle, but he will play a new role in 2021.

The Seahawks announced Friday that they have re-signed Randall. They also announced that Randall will play a corner next season.

Randall was a safety in college, but played a corner after being drafted by the Packers in the first round of the 2015 draft. He returned to safety when he was traded to the Browns in 2018 and played in ten games for the Seahawks there last season.

In Seattle, Shaquill sees Griffin and Quinton Dunbar sign elsewhere as free agents, leaving DJ Reed, Tre Flowers and newly signed Ahkello Witherspoon to go on the corner depth map with Randall.
