The Seattle Seahawks are looking for a new offensive coordinator.

Seattle fired Brian Schottenheimer, who has been the offensive coordinator since 2018, the team announced today.

‘Brian Schottenheimer is a fantastic man and coach and we thank him for the past three years. “With reference to philosophical differences, we parted ways,” the team said in a statement.

The 47-year-old Schottenheimer was also an offensive coordinator for the Jets and Rams, in addition to a number of other assistant positions. He will land somewhere, despite the fact that Seattle’s offense stagnated in 2020, he could be a hard sell as an offensive coordinator.

Now Seattle will try to find a coordinator who can take advantage of the offense that is best used by Russell Wilson.
