Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game is out now

It’s been ten years since it originally came out, and six years since it mysteriously disappeared from digital stores, but today Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game has made its return. It’s an excellent rhythm based on the Scott Pilgrim series (or if you have not read it yet, the movie with Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and this new version of the game is presented with all the DLCs.

You will be able to play as Scott Pilgrim himself, as well as Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine, Stephen Stills, Knives Chau and Wallace Wells as you knock through waves of enemies. It also has local and online multiplayer.

This new version of the game is a full version, which means it comes with all the DLCs of the original version. It also has boss-rabbit and survival horror modes, as well as a bunch of mini-games like PvP dodgeball and something Ubisoft calls ‘battle-royal throws’.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game first appeared in 2010, but just four years later it disappeared from digital stores without there really being an official explanation as to why (although there are suggestions that it has something to do with licenses which has expired). However, many fans wanted it back, including cartoonist Bryan Lee O’Malley, who Ubisoft reached last summer.

In the few years since the movie and game of Scott Pilgrim came out, I feel like many girls my age have suddenly become very edgy and dyed their hair very fun colors. Those girls were me. I’m talking about myself. However, I only dyed my hair red because I did a mess that does not allow bright hair colors. All this is to say: dibs to play Ramona.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game is currently available in the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store for £ 12.50 / $ 15. It also appears on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
