Scientists unlock ‘Cosmos’ on Antikythera Mechanism, the world’s first computer

Scientists have finally created a complete digital model for the Cosmos panel of a 2000-year-old mechanical device called the Antikythera mechanism it is apparently the world’s first computer.

The fragments of a shoebox-sized object, first filled with gears and formerly predicting the movements of celestial bodies, have amazed and amazed generations of researchers ever since.
